I'm Emilien Le Labourier, a French Junior Compositing Artist with two years of experience, from short films where I first found my footing, to commercials, music videos, and most recently my first feature film, due out in late 2026. I believe visual effects should serve the image and the emotion behind it, and never draw attention to themselves.
My compositing practice is centred on Nuke, supported by hands-on knowledge of Fusion and a fluent understanding of post-production pipelines. On set, I worked as a script supervisor, a role that shaped the way I read a scene and think about continuity, intention and mise en scène, and one I continue alongside my VFX work. More and more, I integrate AI tools into my workflow, particularly ComfyUI, exploring how they can open new creative possibilities without compromising the craft.
Alongside my solo practice, I co-run Float32 with my friend and collaborator Pablo Doligez, a creative VFX duo built on a shared vision. Away from the screen, I find the same restless curiosity in the mountains, on running trails, and in programming, technology and AI. I'm actively building toward long-form narrative work, driven by a genuine passion for cinema and a growing body of international experience.
